Privacy notice

This personal fundraiser is operated by Ryan Perez in Calgary, Canada. Contact ryan@bowtiekreative.com for questions, access or correction requests, consent withdrawal, or removal of a public wall entry.

Information you share

We collect your name, email, contribution amount, payment reference and status to process and reconcile contributions, help with payment questions, and communicate about forthcoming supporter resources. Payment providers process card or wallet details on their own services; this form does not collect your card number. Technical logs and consent records may be kept for security and administration.

Your public wall choice

Wall consent is off by default. Your private name and email are not published. If you opt in, your chosen display name (or Anonymous if blank) and optional message may be published after verification and moderation. Public content can be seen and copied by anyone, including search engines. Ask us to remove it at any time; we cannot control copies already made elsewhere.

Email choices

Contribution-related email is separate from optional marketing. Fundraiser updates, courses and services require your explicit marketing consent. Signup may require email confirmation. Use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or contact Ryan to withdraw consent without affecting your contribution.

Service providers and retention

Payment services, hosting and email delivery providers process information needed to provide these services; some may process data outside Canada. We retain contribution and transaction records as needed for accounting, legal obligations and dispute handling, and consent records to respect your choices. We do not sell your personal information. Removal requests may be subject to required record retention.

Optional Google Analytics

Analytics is off unless you choose Accept analytics. Rejecting does not affect contributions or email choices. After acceptance, Google Analytics receives page visits, checkout starts and basic browser/device information, using cookieless opt-in analytics with a random identifier for each analytics frame. Google receives network information such as your IP address when a request is sent. We do not send donor names, emails, messages, form values, payment references, URL query strings, fragments or referrers to Analytics. Advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalization remain denied. Automatic form tracking is isolated from campaign forms; a thank-you visit is not recorded as a purchase.

Your choice is saved in this browser’s local storage. Use Analytics choices in the footer on any campaign page to accept or reject later. Rejection stops future analytics requests; it does not erase data already sent. Google may process analytics data outside Canada. See Google’s privacy policy. Payment and email-confirmation tokens are not shared with Analytics; email confirmation and unsubscribe pages do not load analytics.

Bank transfers and security

Canadian e-transfer verification and USD reconciliation are manual; reconciliation records document the amount included in the USD campaign total. A bank transfer does not grant permission to publish your name or send marketing. Do not send passwords, full card numbers or bank credentials by email. This page does not use advertising tracking scripts. Payment-provider pages may use their own cookies and privacy policies.
